Is the fun over? In a way, yes it is. Twenty years ago I couldn’t imagine passing on the extra slice of pizza, not going out because of work the next day, playing tea time with a four-year old, or putting on a lame track suit and running laps around the duck pond.
Life caught up and now I have to balance family, work and health. If I am lucky I even find some time to do fun things. And you can too.
In my search for that balance, I started by quitting smoking, trying to eat healthier, and started running. So far the results have been that I am much more grumpy and a little bit more healthy.
If this sounds good to you, I recommend you begin with running as you don’t have to give anything up and costs nothing (except the pain of sore muscles, getting winded etc..). Follow this post to see what it is like to get started!
